In an endless array of barely lit black fabric hanging down from the void. A red light in an endless sea of black fabric. We hear a rising tide of static that grows in volume as between the cloth drapery the light begins growing brighter. Pulling back we can see that the red light is a focused beam. In the center of the red spotlight black folds of fabric are forming into the face of a woman. The source of the red light appears to be a red door. The bright red light shines like a spotlight from the keyhole. On the door we see someone has crudely carved the word “HOME” in all capital letters on it. The tendrils made of shadowy folds of black cloth reach for the door when suddenly the light goes out. We can still see 2 pinpoints of red light. The hungry eyes of She Who Folds.
lyrics
They fold
For her
As she will gather
Everything up in her folds
Only time can keep us apart
Every door that stands between us
Shattered splinters in the dark
Chorus
They took so much from her
And from us she’ll get it back
She’ll get it back
Black smoke
Whispers
Things don’t see that they have been cut.
In the dark they form her face
Her folds seep in
As They infect the shadows of this place.
